“It is an amazing video so far.” That’s my first opinion when my lecturer displayed the video titled Future Store to my classroom. Future store, Not only displaying the sophisticated technology in the future, but also it’s succesfully stimulate my curiosity about what the future will be?
Based on the video titled Future Store, I have some reviews about it.
Smart Fridge
Okay, the first content of video is Smart Fridge. Smart fridge automatically recognizes its content using censor system. It will give any information to user towards the monitor.
As the usual people, I think if smart fridge will be implemented into a real life, I have to spend much money to buy it. The reason why? Of course, I need new product that was provided to simplify my life. Using smart fridge I don’t need to know about contains of my fridge, because smart fridge has the feature to recognizes its content and give me any information I need.
Smart Washing Machine
Smart washing machine will know its content and give any important information to the user before the washing process begins. The smart washing machine has the feature to analyze, and automatically give the attention in order to prevent your laundry from shrinking or becoming discolored.
What is my opinion about smart washing machine?
Wow, people, It is another big step forward for our life. You may not to check every items that you put into washing machine, technology smart washing machine be able to know, if there is a content differences in colors.
I think my mother would be happy with this technology. Because she often makes something wrong when washing my blue jeans and a white shirt together in a single process. And the result my white shirt becoming discolored. Using smart washing machine technology, I think it will give notification to my mother when the items doesn’t match with another.
The Electronic Shopping List
The electronic shopping list is provided on the Home PC and sent via internet to the future store. Using the electronic shopping list, it will make shopping easier and more comfortable for the customers. It will make the business more efficient, by developing innovative ways of bringing retail and manufacturing closer together.
In my opinion, Everyone may agree that they would prefer to use electronic shopping list instead of leaving their home and come to store.We can order any items we need from our sweet home. We can access the system everywhere we want, just need internet connection. It is important, we do not need to spend the cost just for the sake of coming to the store.
Future card
The future card be able to know the registered customer.When the card has been activated, the system will provide information about the shopping list and directs the customer to the location of products they need. This will be very useful for me in finding location of the product, because I usually spend a lot of time searching location of the product I was looking for.
Smart Shelves
Using the smart shelves, the system will make sure that there is no lack of stock and misplaced in shelves. The system will give notification by using RFID signals to the workers.
Smart Trolley
The smart trolley automatically recognizes its content by scanning process use the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and displays the information of products such as : products name, price and total.
When the customer put the product into trolley, the information will automatically updated and displays it to the portable computer screen that was designed for helping customers.
Smart Information Terminals
They can display a store layout showing the exact location of any product in the store. They can show information on how specific products are manufactured, as well as ingredients. I think if a customer wants to find out more about certain meat products or wines, they can do so quickly and easily.
Smart Dressing Room
Smart dressing room enables we can try new outfits without taking any of our clothes off. The result will be showed by the screen and we can measure how a piece will look on us.We also get a list of suggested items that go along with the outfit we choose. But, I am still prefer to use fitting room than use smart dressing room. Oh I just want to make sure if the clothes fit on my body.
Smart Mirror
The girls may scream out after she knows about smart mirror. Maybe they will spend a lof of her time just in front of the smart mirror to make sure they would be beautiful, of course, like a beautiful princess. Okay, Its just my idea.
Future check out
I think the future check out is the most effective way from future store technology. Not only because it is able to save cashier’s time to count total of goods and prices, but also because it will reduce the crowd in front of the cashier.
The last feature of future store is menu for deactivating smart chips, this step very important in order to prevent our smart chips from unauthorized people. When the customers pass the next gate, the Smart Chips will be deactivated.
And this is the last of my opinion about the future store and smart technology. The future store and smart technology requires sophisticated technology to implement it in the real world, so it takes a very large investment.
